I had some leftover yarn and teddy bear buttons from the gray wrap sweater, and decided to make a little hat to match:
They make a cute pair, don’t you think?
I have received a few requests for the hat pattern – it is so ridiculously easy, that I hesitate to even call it a pattern! I had a picture in my head of what I wanted to make and just kind of winged it as I went along. Really, it’s just a long tube gathered at the top with an I-cord and folded up at the bottom. No decreasing!
Here is the free PDF: Rib-knit Baby Hat
This was knit to fit a newborn, but if you wanted to size it up, I guess you could just add a few more repeats of the rib stitch and knit it a bit longer. Just have fun with it! Today I’ll make a pair of these to complete the set, then I’ll move onto this.
Have a great weekend! ~Jenny
