For those of you who don’t know, Susan B. Anderson is the author of the popular Itty-Bitty Hats, Itty-Bitty Nursery, and the soon-to-be-released Itty-Bitty Toys knitting books. Most of the knitting skills I’ve learned since starting knitting have been learned from Susan, and I consider her far and wide to be my “knitting guru”. Her books have really fantastic, easy to read tutorials on stitching, binding off and finishing, and I have spent countless hours on my couch with her books teaching myself new techniques. She has a casual, easy way about her writing, and her patterns knit up beautifully…perfect for a knitter just starting out or for a seasoned knitter who wants to knit something beautiful and classic.
Susan has just posted a great video tutorial on how to weave in the ends after finishing a project! This categorically seems to be one of the most dreaded parts of a project among knitters, but Susan makes it look so easy:
Be sure to check out Susan’s new online shop, where she sells adorable patterns not found in her books:
Susan also writes a lovely blog, with lots of pictures, video tutorials and sometimes even knitting pod-casts! Definitely check it out!
Happy knitting! ~Jennifer
